Complete Guide to IPTV LEX: Features, Setup, and Everything You Need to Know

Everything about IPTV LEX in one place: what you get, what it costs, which devices work, how to set it up and what happens after you pay.

By the IPTV LEX Team 11 min readUpdated

If you have landed here, you are probably weighing up IPTV LEX or you have just signed up and want to get the most out of it. This guide is the single reference page for the service. It covers what IPTV LEX actually is, what is in the channel and on-demand library, how the plans are priced, which devices work, how setup goes on each device family, what happens after you pay, and how support and refunds work.

It is long on purpose. Use the headings to jump to the part you need, and follow the links to the dedicated device guides when you are ready to install.

What IPTV LEX is

IPTV LEX is an internet TV subscription. Instead of a cable box or a satellite dish, live channels and a movie and series library are streamed to your devices over your home internet connection. You install a player app on the screen you want to watch on, enter the login details we send you, and the channel list loads in the app just like a cable guide.

There is no hardware to rent and no installer visit. If you already own a smart TV, a Fire TV Stick, an Android box, an Apple TV, a phone or a laptop, you already have what you need. If the concept itself is new to you, our plain-English explainer on IPTV walks through how the technology works before you read on.

Who it suits

  • Cord-cutters who want a large live channel line-up without a long contract or equipment fees.
  • Expats and multilingual households who want channels from home countries alongside local ones.
  • Sports fans who follow top football leagues, major US sports, combat sports and motorsport across several networks.
  • Families with several screens who want everyone watching something different at the same time, using a multi-device plan.
  • Movie and series watchers who want a big on-demand library on the same login as their live TV.

The live channel library

With 25,000+ live channels, the line-up is far wider than any single cable package. Rather than one giant list, channels are grouped by country and then by category, so you open the folder you want (for example, a country group, then sport or news) and scroll a manageable list. Most player apps also let you build a favourites list so the channels you actually watch sit on one screen.

What the categories cover

  • Sport: top football leagues, major US sports, combat sports, motorsport, tennis, cricket and more, plus dedicated event channels for big fixtures.
  • News: international and national rolling news in many languages.
  • Entertainment: general entertainment, reality, lifestyle and comedy channels.
  • Kids and family: cartoons, education and family channels.
  • Documentaries and factual: nature, history, science and true crime.
  • Music and regional: music video channels and regional networks for expat audiences.

You can browse the line-up by country on the channels page. If sport is the main reason you are looking, our guide to IPTV for sports explains how to find event channels, set up the EPG for fixtures and keep live matches smooth.

Picture quality and the EPG

Channels are offered in HD and FHD, with 4K versions where the original broadcast exists in 4K. Many channels also have more than one quality variant, which is handy if your connection is weak in one room: pick the HD variant there and the 4K one on the main TV. The EPG fills in programme names and times so you can see what is on now and next, and on apps like TiviMate you get a full grid guide that looks and works like a cable box.

Movies, series and catch-up

The on-demand side holds 60,000+ movies and series, updated daily. In most apps it appears as separate Movies and Series tabs with posters, descriptions and categories. Series are organised by season and episode, and good players remember where you stopped so you can resume later.

Catch-up (also called timeshift) is a different feature: it lets you go back on a live channel and watch a programme that already aired, usually within the last few days. It is available on many channels rather than all of them. In TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro, channels with catch-up show a small clock or rewind icon, and you open past programmes directly from the guide.

Plans, prices and device counts

IPTV LEX pricing has two dimensions: how long you subscribe (1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months) and how many devices can watch at the same time (1 to 5). Every plan includes the full channel list, the full VOD library and support, so you are never choosing between a basic and a premium tier. Longer plans cost less per month, and the 6-month single-device plan is the most popular choice.

The device count is about simultaneous streams, not how many devices you install the app on. A 1-device plan can be installed on your TV, phone and laptop, but only one of them can play at a time. If two people want to watch different things at the same moment, you need a 2-device plan or higher. Our article on IPTV multi connections breaks down the per-device cost of each option, and the multi-device page lists every combination.

How to pick the right plan

  1. Start with the free trial if you have not used IPTV LEX before. It confirms the service works on your devices and your connection.
  2. Count the screens that play at the same time at your busiest moment, typically a weekend evening. That number is your device count.
  3. Choose the length you are comfortable with. One month is flexible; 6 and 12 months cost much less per month; 24 months is the cheapest per month on a single device.

Supported devices

IPTV LEX does not lock you into one box. Because the service is delivered as a standard M3U playlist and an Xtream Codes login, it works with almost any IPTV player app on almost any device:

  • Smart TVs: Samsung and LG through apps from their app stores, plus Android-based smart TVs.
  • Streaming sticks: Amazon Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube.
  • Android TV and Android boxes: including Nvidia Shield, Chromecast with Google TV and generic Android boxes.
  • Apple: Apple TV, iPhone and iPad.
  • Phones and computers: Android phones and tablets, Windows PCs and Macs.
  • Set-top receivers: MAG boxes and Enigma2 receivers.

The full compatibility list with notes for each platform is on our devices page and on the main site's supported devices page.

How setup works on each device family

Setup always follows the same three steps: install a player app, enter your IPTV LEX details, and let the channel list and guide load. What changes from device to device is which app you use and how you install it. Below is the short version for each family, with a link to the full step-by-step guide.

Amazon Fire TV Stick

Fire TV is the most common way people watch IPTV LEX. Some players are in the Amazon Appstore; others are installed with the free Downloader app after you allow apps from unknown sources in the developer options. Once installed, choose the Xtream Codes login, enter your server URL, username and password, and the channels load in a minute or two. Full walkthrough: IPTV on Firestick.

Samsung and LG smart TVs

Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs use apps from their own stores. Some of these apps activate through a device ID and key shown on screen, which you register on the app's website along with your playlist. It takes five minutes once you know the routine. Full walkthrough: IPTV on a smart TV.

Android TV and Android boxes

Android TV is the most flexible platform. TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro are both available, and both support Xtream Codes, which pulls in live channels, VOD and the EPG in one login. Full walkthrough: IPTV on an Android box.

Apple TV, iPhone and iPad

On Apple devices, players come from the App Store. Install one, choose the Xtream Codes or playlist login, and enter your details. Apple TV in particular gives a very clean big-screen experience. Full walkthrough: IPTV on Apple TV.

Windows, Mac, MAG and Enigma2

On a computer, VLC can open the M3U link directly, and dedicated players give you a proper guide. MAG boxes use a portal URL and are activated with the box's MAC address, which you send to support. Enigma2 receivers are set up with a short command or bouquet file that support provides. If you are unsure which login type to use, read M3U vs Xtream Codes.

Payment and activation

Ordering takes a couple of minutes. Pick your plan length and device count on the subscriptions page, enter your email, and pay at checkout. Card, crypto, gift card and other methods are available at checkout, depending on your region.

Activation is instant. Within minutes of payment, an email arrives with your login details. You get both formats:

  • Xtream Codes login: a server URL, a username and a password. This is the format most apps prefer because it loads live channels, movies, series and the EPG together.
  • M3U playlist URL: a single link that contains your credentials. Useful for VLC and apps that only accept playlists.

Check your spam or promotions folder if the email has not arrived after 10 minutes. If it is still missing, message support on WhatsApp with the email address you ordered with and they will resend it.

Getting the best picture and stability

The anti-freeze servers handle the provider side, but your home network matters just as much. A few habits make a big difference:

  1. Use a wired connection where you can. An Ethernet cable or adapter on the main TV removes most Wi-Fi drops.
  2. Allow enough speed per screen. Around 10 Mbps per stream is comfortable for HD; 20-25 Mbps for 4K.
  3. Restart the device now and then. Streaming sticks with little memory slow down after days without a restart.
  4. Clear the app cache if channels start slowly, and keep the player app updated.
  5. Try another quality variant of the same channel if one keeps stalling on a weak connection.

If streams still buffer after that, our IPTV buffering fix guide works through the causes in order, from Wi-Fi placement to DNS and VPN settings.

Support

Support is available 24/7 on WhatsApp and by email at support@iptvlex.com. Typical requests include help installing an app on a specific TV, activating a MAG box, adding adult content, moving to a plan with more devices, or checking why a particular channel is not loading.

You will get a faster answer if you include a few details in your first message: the email you ordered with, the device and app you are using, the channel name if the problem is specific to one channel, and a screenshot of any error. Answers to the most common questions are also on the FAQ page, and you can reach us any time from the contact page.

Refunds and the money-back guarantee

IPTV LEX offers a money-back guarantee under the terms of the refund policy. Read it before you order so you know the conditions and time window that apply. In practice, the best protection is the free trial: test on the devices you will actually use, at the time of day you normally watch, before you pay.

If something stops working after you subscribe, contact support first. Most problems are fixed within minutes by switching app, changing a setting or refreshing the playlist, and support can tell you quickly whether a refund request is the right route.

The 24-hour free trial

The trial lasts 24 hours and gives you real access to the service. There is no payment up front: you only need an email address. Use it to check three things: that your preferred app works on your TV, that the channels you care about are in the list, and that streams hold steady on your connection during the evening. Our IPTV free trial guide has a checklist so you get the most out of those 24 hours, and you can request one from the free trial page.

Quick-start checklist

  1. Request the free trial or choose a plan on the pricing page.
  2. Decide how many screens need to play at once and pick that device count.
  3. Install a player app on each device (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro or your TV's IPTV app).
  4. Enter the Xtream Codes details from your activation email, or use the M3U link.
  5. Wait for channels, VOD and the EPG to load, then build your favourites list.
  6. Save the support WhatsApp number and support@iptvlex.com in case you need help later.

That is the whole service in one page. If you want an outside-in view of how IPTV LEX performs day to day, read our IPTV LEX review, or see how it stacks up against the alternatives in choosing the best IPTV subscription. When you are ready, you can start from the IPTV LEX home page.
